The house and three acre garden is set at the edge of  a beautiful village outside Cambridge.  The gardens design was inspied by the gardens of 1930s period when the house was built and has many of is features. From the house you enter the garden through the double Crittle doors. Either side of the door two beds were created to anchor the house and  planted with mixture of grasses and scented  flowers. The brick path lead the eye to the reflective pool at the end of the long rill.  The water in the top pool cascade into the rill and then flows into the bottom pool which surround the herringbone paved seating area. the water provide light and sound to stimulate the senses.  The herbaceous planting in beds have been inspired by Gertrude Jekyll  planting from that period.

The pond by the drive has been remodelled and extended with the canter levered deck.   The natural pool been planted with flag rises and water lilies.  During the hot summer days it allows swimming opportunities from the platform.
